Sabbath Observance

On our campus, Sabbath, sundown to sundown, is very special time. It is expected that all students demonstrate a profound respect for these holy hours. This does not in any way translate to sad Sabbath robots. To the contrary! It is our hope and desire that every student may experience Sabbath as the most meaningful, spiritually fulfilling, physically regenerating day of the week. However, the realization of such revitalization precludes such indulgences as "sporty" or recreational activities, as well as class assignments, including the mechanical preparation of presentations for Sabbath programs.
